Sun Dance Ranch invites you to immerse yourself in a unique blend of Swedish tranquility and Western adventure. Here you will find a little piece of paradise that feels like stepping into another world – a touch of the Wild West – yet still surprisingly close to home.

Imagine waking up to breathtaking views of majestic mountains. Right outside your door, countless hiking and riding trails are waiting to be explored. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the elegance of our horses, and the rich wildlife that calls this place home. The stunning Swedish landscape, with its mountains, rivers, and wide-open views, provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The ranch, complete with a cozy saloon and charming cottages, has been thoughtfully designed with a blend of Swedish and Western influences. The result is a delightful mix of comfort and nostalgia. Its warm and welcoming atmosphere invites you to leave the bustle of everyday life behind and truly unwind in this enchanting setting.

Stay in one of our traditional Swedish wooden cottages, lovingly called “Stuga’s”, or enjoy the rustic charm of our small campsite. Across the ranch you will find inviting picnic and campfire spots – perfect places to relax and spend time together. Enjoy delicious meals prepared over an open fire, in the true spirit of outdoor cooking, or unwind in our tipi tent with a drink in hand as the day slowly fades away.

Whether you’re enjoying a drink in the saloon or simply taking in the beautiful surroundings, Sun Dance Ranch offers a special escape where family memories are made and everyday worries fade into the background.

During the summer season, we organize a wide variety of activities, including meditation- and drum journeys with horses, canoeing and stand-up paddling, riding lessons, horsemanship and coaching sessions, fishing, air rifle shooting, hiking, cycling, and swimming. Throughout the rest of the year, you are warmly welcome to join special weeks such as Coach Week, as well as a variety of retreats, workshops, and training programs focused on personal development.

Sun Dance Ranch offers everything you need for an unforgettable holiday – for riders and non-riders alike – with plenty of activities for the whole family. Many of our guests tell us that staying here feels like coming home.
