Nemo is a 2012 gelding. His mom is a tinker and dad a cross Fries x Shire. Nemo looks like a mini shire and is a big sweet, slightly rude gentleman. He was at the ranch in the summer of 2016 for being saddle broke and trained. We already fall in love with him than. In 2019 he came back to the ranch and we were able to buy him.
He needs clear instructions and finds people who give double signals (spur and pull the reins at the same time) very difficult and then blocks completely, don’t take a step anymore. As if he’s saying: I don’t know what you mean (do you want to move forward or stop?!), just shoot me…
Nemo is in training as a guide horse and hopefully he can guide in season 2022 so he won’t have to work with guests (much) anymore.
