Jolly is a light brown Pinto Mare from 1995 and about 142 cm high. She is  with us since January 2008 and she came at the same time as Summer. So she also moved from The Netherlands to Sweden. Jolly knows what she wants and can be a little dominate against the other horses but she is very sweet towards the guests.

She is good western trained but if she knows you can ride, she’s going to try you out. Just to see if it works. She is very sweet and easy to ride for beginners but if you ride a little better and if you lead her fair, she will be a super horse with a very nice jog.

Sometimes we call her Speedy because if you ride up the mountain with her, she gallops very quickly and it feels like it’s from 0 to 100 in 5 seconds. But do not worry; on top of the mountain she is calm again (and the battery is empty…). She has just a short and quick gallop so it feels like your’re speeding.

In the herd she is somewhere in the middle of rank but as soon as a new horse comes in the herd, she acts like a cutting horse and flies from left to right to protect her group. She is best friends with Chicks and Sunny.
Jolly is also ridden on a side pull (bitless) since 2011.
