Kalle is a Shetland pony gelding from 1999 and about 110 cm high. He is brown and white painted and a real big boy. He’s been at the ranch since December 2013 and in January 2014 he got castrated at the age of 15 years old because then, he could go and live within the herd as well.

He believes, even though he’s the smallest in the herd, he is the man of the herd. He regularly has to ‘ run for his life ‘ because the other horses think he is too brutal. He really believes he is still a stallion.
His biggest friend was always Irish Cob mare Moa because they lived together for a couple of years before they came to the ranch. However, now it seems more like he is married with Flicka.

Kalle is joining on the trails. Even with the smallest children he goes on a walking trail through the private forest. He also really likes to work in the extreme trail park. Occasionally he can even just go along free/loose when Flicka goes for a ride in the forest around the ranch. Of course he loves that!
