A dream place!
The farm was converted into a real ranch with saloon, cottages and a western & souvenir shop. And of course the most necessary; painted horses. Nice fencing, authentic T-bars, stylish design and pleasant western atmosphere appeared quickly!
And the name, which was clear from day one, it had to be Sun Dance Ranch! This comes from Anita’s first horse Sun Dance Kid. The picture was complete!
It was a lot of building and rebuilding and a lot of investments. It was a heavy challenge to make a fertile company out of it!
However, not everything went as hoped …
Since the spring of 2013 Anita owns the ranch by herself. With the help of many friends and volunteers she managed to make it a great business out of it.
In December 2013 the Swedish man, Anders Skoglund, came in the picture and now they are running Sun Dance Ranch together with lots of love. There are plenty of new plans and ideas and Anita and Anders are driven to continue their dream in their beautiful paradise!
Sun Dance Ranch is growing!
In the meantime we have built a beautiful ranch and we have seen many people going home with a great horse riding and Sweden experience! The guest book is full with positive stories from our guests…! This gives even more motivation and power to build and expand the ranch furthermore. And of course to offer even more people to get an unforgettable holiday.
The ranch offers a beautiful saloon with bar and restaurant, cozy terrace, wide western & souvenir shop, toilet building, cottages, landscaped garden, camping with beautiful picnic area by the water, sleeping loft for helpers, nice fenced riding ring, horsemanship paddock, night paddock, round pen, a real tipi tent, chuck wagon, swimming pool and so on, and so on. The latest addition is an outdoor sauna and jacuzzi by the waterfront with stunning view over the river!
Sun Dance Ranch just keeps getting prettier, more extensive and more professional. And Anita is, honestly, very proud of what she already created and built. (of course with big thanks to the great helpers and trainees).
Of course, there are still plenty of ideas and plans for the future! Keep an eye on our facebook and you’ll know what’s happening at the ranch.
